MySQL هو اطار قاعدة بيانات مكتوب بلغة البرمجة C و C++ اللذي بالامكان تثبيته في العديد من أنظمة التشغيل وخوادم شبكة الانترنت المختلفة للتمكين من استخدام SQL في التطبيقات. تقريبا كل شركات استضافة المواقع الالكترونية الكبيرة والصغيرة توفر دعم لـ MySQL كجزء من خوادم LAMP/WAMP أو (LEMP (Nginx مع Node.js ،Python ،Perl ،PHP، والخ. بعض مضيفي الويب يوفرون دعم لـ PostgreSQL بالاضافة الى MySQL أو MSSQL على مضيفي Windows.
قواعد بيانات MySQL تشغّل معظم النصوص البرمجية الشعبية على الويب التي مصدرها مفتوح مثل Magento ،Joomla ،WordPress ،Drupal، والخ، مع أن الكثير من أولاء يمكن أيضا تشغيلهم على أطر أخرى. تدار MySQL مباشرة على خوادم الويب عن طريق أدات الخدمة phpMyAdmin التي توفر وصول الى جداول قاعدة البيانات مباشرة. معالج قاعدة بيانات MySQL يبسّط عملية الانشاء والنشر في cPanel. هناك عدد من تمديدات البرامج المختلفة متوفرة لتحسين تخزين MySQL المؤقت على خوادم الويب.

Important! All reviewers can request the deletion of any personal information and it will be deleted within the 48 hours after the request.
