Bought it to try it out because the price was great. Reached out to customer service to cancel, was sent an email to confirm which I just so happened to miss. Contacted them to refund my account and cancel my account as I thought I previously did and got stuck with a $275 charge. Can't speak to anything of their hosting because I hardly used it.

Up Side: Basic functaionlity and reliablity.
Down Side: Worst service provider I have been with. Don't expect any service from their "24/7 service". They shut down my website because they said it was "causing the server to slow down" and I would need a premium acount for this type of service. Than when I mentioned I actually have a premium acount they just made my website live again, but took 0 responsability for the matter.

Please be advised to stay away, my wanting to be green has made me pay double, since I did not want to stay with these unhonest providers.

"Everything Unlimited" is far from being unlimited... We have been GreenGeeks customers for over 5 years and out of the blue they had revised their plans in the background.

New inode limits set at 150K caused our account to get flagged and forced upsell conversation with the support started. Until today, they never officially announced or informed about this change to their existing users. Neither do they list this information within the plan details.

So, lesson learnt, GreenGeeks ToS allows them to do whatever, whenever, without any limits. They are the only and last arbitrator to rule over their ToS, which quite frankly is a bad joke.

To top all this up, we have more than a year left in our billing cycle, which GreenGeeks refuses to refund, yet they are happy to close our account. Fair deal?

TLDR; BE AWARE OF UNJUST BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SKETCHY TOS.

I had purchased a web hosting for my developers. They were not able to do something on the platform. So my developer wanted to use another company. This is in the middle of the pandemic. We didnt get to get started for a month later due to this. They wont refund my money because its been after 30 days. This is robbery. I will mever do business with them again. Beware of my nightmare

raison :

1/ to dowload a jetpack backup more than 2 houres for just 500mb, with each 5/10mn need to resume the download even if i have a 8mb connection

2/ moved my account to you just because its stated a ""wordpress hosting", but same issue like my old regular hosting, error 500 / site unreachable, even if the site is under construction, just to make a change on 1 product, what will be happen when i will have live customer & visitor ???

3/ no way to backup with UpdraftPlus, memory limite error, NEED TO TRY AND try & RETRY

4/ new site with just 50 product & 350/500 total MB content, but cpanel stat that already 24% inodes/File Usage used

look like nothing changed from 2017 to 2020 (as i already got a very bed experience as a reseller account with you on 2017).

thats clear its a not a dedicated hosting for wordpress but just a shared hosting with the name (wordpress hosting), just a scam to pay more with the same price as a shared account !!!

all hosting trough softacoulus provide wp install, dedi/special wordpress hosting mean its a hosting that feat minimum resource for a wordpress site !!!

sure if i order normal/basic shared hosting i will have same quality as what you stat/name (wordpress hosting) ... just A SCAM !!!!
